Cantua + Pine Flat

No need for a lengthy description: I powered up the finishing hill at Cantua for 5th place, after doing a lot of work during the 80 miles to hurt the field on the climb, and pull in a breakaway by a Godspeed rider. Pine flat was the next day. I did a little work at the front in the middle of the race, but by the time we got to the climb (50 miles in) I was tired as hell from 2 days of racing, and had to just grind my way up the climb, getting dropped from the lead group, of course. However, I bombed the descent, and TT'd the flat, passing and picking up about 4 or 5 riders, until we had a little 5-7 man group together. I then tried to break away on the flat with about 2km to go (stayed away for a bit, but didn't burn myself), got caught, and was strong enough on the last, steep climb to be the second guy over the line from that chase group. 14th overall, I beleive....

And, my sprint is getting better. Almost 1300 watts peak, and over 1200 for 3 sec -- it's starting to get respectable.
